And the story goes something like this: One of my helpfull friends had printed out the Blood Bowl LRB5 for me and the quick reference sheets and on top of that he laminated them. To the story I want to add that we both like the trash talk that often comes to light when you play Blood Bowl. So when the sheets were laid out he noticed that one side of the last page would be empty and that just didnt cut it. He came up with the great idea to wright a note and put it in there and without telling me to boot.

The note said: ” Rockets sucks Allstars for the win!”

My human team that I played at the time in our league was called: Wolfenburg rockets and of course my friends team name was Playelf allstars. So this boobytrapped printout of the rules and sheets was neatly put in a black folder and delivered to me and I was really grateful until later when I discovered said note!

I swore to him that I would serve him the dish of revenge and serve it in the best of ways… and I think that I did just that. Heres what I did…

Due to the Playelf allstars being a team consisted of the shadowforge elfteam that is a bunch of nice looking elf women with not a lot of clothing on them I thought of the devious plan to take an orc cheerleader modell and paint it like an elf with just the right teamcolors and the whole shebang… so here it is:

The germans recce platoon scouting its way to the Tunisian village.

The Panzers of the germans deployed at an early stage but there are more of them to come.

Brittish anti tank platoon moving into the fray.

My Britts are holding the village close to the two objectives.

Reinforcements for the jolly good chaps. Time to go for those dastardly Nebelwerfers.

Arr… matey! My shermans took out those german reinforcement.

The final charge of the panzers and the move that took those bloody germans to victory.

…and my rifle company all tucked in to fight another day. Next time germans, next time!

I just love armoured cars so my british soldiers needed something really cool to drive around in, hence the Daimler armoured car. Really cool modells thats going to be much more with a lot of stowage on them. The other buy is every Band of Brothers fans wet dream and I could not resist anymore… lets see when I get around and get them ready.

My first real playtesting of the FoW game. The miniatures and terrain leaves a bit to ask for but thats all in progress and will develop as we go along. I took out a few pictures that catched the feel of the terrain and the miniatures at this stage. Mark that this is not my terrain (in exception of a few buildings) but mostly my friend Rogers thats scratch built at a remarkable speed. Thanks Roger for delivering time after time.

Wip: Staff team

One of the resent projects is my staff team base for my Royal horse artillery platoon. I found a couple of these resin bases when I attended the Gothcon last easter. They are really nice at not a very steep price. The company that produces them are Baueda Wargames. I have pinned one of the miniatures on the base and the others are just glued on. There was a bit of filing to get the guys bases to the right slim level so it would fit in with the scenariobase.

I am really pleased with the result and the base is waiting for some putty/ filler in some gaps and then primer.

A bit quite time.

I have been a bit inactive for a while. A lot of work and nothing really exciting done to put up on the blog, until now. The pictures has not been taken yet and the project is of the secret kind that would be revealed at a later stage. So bare with me and all will be reavealed when the time is right.

On another topic I have decided that I will go with my friends thoughts on FoW terrain and make the desert scenery a number one priority. More on that later on.

My first tank is comming of the productionline and I am really excited about it. The only thing its missing is the antennas but im going to leave them out for now. This is just a sneak peak off the finished result. I hope I will have some more shoots of the miniature next week when I have arrived safely at home from Gothcon. Enjoy…

Another WIP pic. Im leaning for the dirty well used look without to much damage to the chassi. Ive been reading a couple of tutorials on painting windscreens and im going to give it a try later on. Still searching on a tutorial for making those headlights pop. Hopefully I would get the time to present a finished project soon. Until then.
